• Will FarrierPro work with Vista?
• Yes. FarrierPro is compatible with Microsoft Vista’s operating system. However, Vista has introduced problems during some installs. To avoid this issue during install we recommend that you disable the UAC (User Account Control) before installing. After FarrierPro is installed and you would like to continue to use UAC you can enable without affecting the behavior of FarrierPro. How do I disable UAC?
• What are the system requirements to run FarrierPro?
• OS: Windows 2000 / Windows XP/ Vista
  Processor: PIII – 600 MHZ or higher
  RAM: 256 MB Ram
  Resolution: 800 x 600 Min.

• What if I need help using FarrierPro?
• To receive help while using FarrierPro, FarrierPro has an integrated support feature that allows you to send questions or feature request through the Internet utilizing FarrierPro's web service. In addition, you can contact Technical Support via email at info@farrierpro.com, Call our support line @ 503.324.9358, or use MSN Messenger when we are online. Technical Support is always free and we answer all email and calls within 24hrs. Please note we are in the Pacific Time Zone.

• How does FarrierPro protect my data?
• FarrierPro has the ability to backup and restore your data, as well as automatically create backups of your data to ensure there is no data loss. We also recommend that you purchase a USB Flash Drive (Pen Drive) for the use of storing your backups.

• Is an Internet connection required to use FarrierPro?
• No. An Internet connection is not required to run FarrierPro. FarrierPro does have the ability to send Feature Requests, Report Issues, and Register using integrated Web Services but is not required for daily use.

• Can I use FarrierPro on more than one computer?
• YES! You can use FarrierPro on more than one computer. However you must be careful as to which computer has the most recent data. As you backup and restore data any data on the “target” machine will be replaced with the data in the backup file.

• Why does FarrierPro require the .NET Framework?
• FarrierPro uses the .NET Framework libraries that are included in the next generation of windows operating system. The use of these libraries will insure compatibility as Microsoft updates their operating systems.

• What kind of Mobile Printer should I use with FarrierPro?
• We recommend the Pentax Thermal Pocket Printers. These printers do not use ink that can smear when a raindrop hits your customer’s invoice on their way back to the house. The printers use thermal paper instead of ink. No more messing with ink cartridges.

• This really depends on the year and model of your ride and your personal requirements. There are several websites that offer different mounting systems to fit your personal needs.
